The Nexus (A.K.A. The Door Room) is the first room of the dream world, serving as the central hub from which all other locations can be eventually reached. In the previous game, it featured twelve doors, while in this one, it features seven, the third of which (clockwise) is blocked off by chains until the end of the game.
One Effect and one Jellyfish can be found within the dreams behind each door, save for the third. Once obtained, the effects and Jellyfish will appear within the Nexus, the effects being represented by eggs.
The doors lead to (clockwise): Dark Alley, Wilderness, The End, City, The Mall, the Docks, and The Sewers.
